"Live in the moments of today for tomorrow holds no guarantee."
A Simple Phrase
Have you ever taken this one to heart?
I believe that a majority in this world whether they are Christians or Non-Christians ever really do. My thoughts are that this phrase should encompass the idea of being thankful. I will lay out some of my thankful thoughts and after I have I would hope you would share some of yours in the comments section.
The first thought I am mindful of is my salvation. I am incredibly great full for the movement of the Holy Spirit in my heart over fifty years ago and his bringing me to a somewhat mature stage in my life today.
The moments of silence in the morning is one gift that I treasure so much. It is a time for meeting with God, my Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I talk with them and express my heart. I pray for my family, friends, and others that come to mind.
Another is recognizing the importance of the simple phrase up above. The moments of today pass very quickly so make sure that you truly live in them.
There is so much to be thankful for but I would really like to hear from others that are out there.
Love Peter
I also have treasured the moments early mornings now that I’m older( 64)… to meditate on scripture, be still… listen and converse with Him. Wish I knew the significance of such joy in Christ when I was younger. But I’m grateful for now, and maturity takes years, which still I’ve not fully achieved! Blessings
ReplyDeleteYes, this has taken me a long time but it takes those years to help us appreciate these days one day at a time for tomorrow holds no guarantee.
